About the Journal
SUSTINERE: Journal of Environment and Sustainability is an open-access interdisciplinary journal designed to disseminate broad, impactful investigations across all aspects of environmental sciences, including environmental studies and engineering, and to discuss sustainability issues from all standpoints. SUSTINERE welcomes contributions in the form of original communications (research papers), reviews, discussion papers, letters to the editor, short communications, and special themed issues on relevant topics. Contributions must demonstrate originality, meet the general criteria of scientific excellence, and be well written in English. All manuscripts are evaluated through a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, involving at least three expert reviewers.
SUSTINERE: Journal of Environment and Sustainability is dedicated to delivering top-tier services to authors, ensuring transparency and prompt communication regarding manuscript submissions. Upon the acceptance of their manuscript, authors will promptly receive notification of the decision.
In support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SUSTINERE: Journal of Environment and Sustainability encourages research that strengthens the environmental, social, and economic pillars of sustainability. The journal contributes to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by sharing studies on sustainable agriculture, food systems, and resource-efficient farming; to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through research on environmental quality, pollution reduction, and healthy living environments; and to SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) by publishing findings related to renewable energy development and energy efficiency improvements. It also supports SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by promoting work on sustainable urban design, waste management, and resilient public infrastructure; SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by advancing circular economy concepts and cleaner production methods; and SDG 13 (Climate Action) by facilitating studies on climate change mitigation, adaptation, and policy innovation. Furthermore, SUSTINERE aligns with SDG 14 (Life Below Water) through research on the protection of marine ecosystems and the sustainable use of aquatic resources, as well as SDG 15 (Life on Land) by publishing work on biodiversity conservation, land restoration, and responsible ecosystem management. Collectively, these contributions reflect the journal’s commitment to advancing practical, science-based knowledge and innovation that support a just and sustainable global future.
